Today we will lay Uncle Thuku to rest at his home. It is a sad thing to lose a loved one, but when God says your time is up, then it is up. The question is, will you be ready to go? Do you know Jesus as Lord and Savior? Why burn in hell when you can live in the presence of God forever? Think about it.

Grieving Michael Jackson
The radio is on and there are all these Michael Jackson songs playing and Maina Kageni keeps saying "Michael is not supposed to die! He cannot die!" shortly I hear people calling in to request their favorite MJ songs and then Maina Kageni refers to him as the 'late' King of Pop. Shock on me, Michael Jackson is dead!!!I felt very sad and found that I was literally mourning his passing. It is strange, because he was never really one of my favorite artists, and you couldn't catch me dead trying to moon walk. But I just really felt sad about it. So of course a conversation ensues between the Lord and I. I am trying to figure out why I am grieving for him so much and the Lord says, 'You are feeling what I am feeling.' Now that was something. The question came into my mind 'Did he accept Christ at any point in his life?' if not, then he was on his way to hell and there was nothing anyone, even God, could do about it now.
It made me want to tell everyone about Jesus. The word says in Ps 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" it is precious to him because he takes them to heaven to live with him. However, his heart grieves for every soul that goes to eternal damnation. He made them all and loves each one. He mourns those who do not get into heaven. Pray for those who do not know Christ that they may come to the knowledge of his saving grace.
